Our free self-paced courses are designed to help you learn more about fire ants, how to treat and manage them.

We have several online learning courses to support general residents, community groups, tradespeople who work outdoors, school staff and primary producers in learning more about fire ants and how to manage them.

Our training can be completed on a computer, laptop or mobile device.

There are three specific training packages available:

Private training sessions are available for groups of 25 people or more (dependent on trainer availability). To discuss this option with us, please complete our request form.


Are you a tradie, pest manager or want to register for an online fire ant training session?

Fire ant training sessions are run monthly through Microsoft Teams. If you have a large group we may also be able to run a private session for you.

This course will help you carefully manage fire ants or materials that can carry fire ants, such as soil, hay, mulch, animal manure, quarry materials, turf and potted plants.
